At Debden House we have been reviewing all the government guidelines and updates in regards to re-opening of businesses and campsites. Our customers and staff are of the highest priority and thus we have been very mindful in taking the correct approach in re-opening the campsite with different regulations set in place in order to keep the facilities safe and secure for everyone.

Extra Measures taken for staff & customer safety:

  • There are social distancing signs and floor markings around the site and must be followed at all times.
  • The site’s total occupancy has been reduced to ensure safety for all. Field 6 & 7 are not available this year.
  • There is an extra cleaning regime in place.
  • Hand sanitizers are provided in all toilet blocks, showers and washing up areas.
  • Extra security and staff will be around to ensure all government guidelines are adhered to.
  • All staff have been provided with PPE to wear at all times.
  • Cash & Card payments are not available for both Campers and Day Visitors. Please book and pay online before you arrive.
  • No groups larger than 6 people are allowed for both day visitors and campers.
  • The Shop and the play area will be closed to all customers. Vending machine will be available.

In order for all of the above to happen, unfortunately we have had to increase our prices by 15%. Please note, this will not have an effect on the prices for our customers due to the government’s reduction of VAT in the hospitality and leisure sector.

Our site will officially be open for campers on 31st July. The online booking system is now live.

Please note the following changes:

  1. All Day Visitors must pre-book and pay online – we are no longer able to take 'walk in' customers. The check-in time is from 9am and departure is strictly 5pm. All day pitches on field 3, have been segregated to adhere to the social distancing rules. No groups can be larger than 6 people. No cash or card payment available. Please book & pay online before you arrive.
  2. All Campers will need to book a minimum of 2 night stay and we only allow groups from 3 to 6 people per pitch.
  3. Each field has a DIFFERENT arrival time. Please check below for your field and stick to this time as we are trying to reduce risk of transmission by having too many people congregating in queues, etc.
  4. All campers must remain in the car park until directed by security. Only one member of the group will be asked to come to the office for check-in.
    Field 1 – arrival at 11AM
    Field 2 – arrival at 12PM
    Field 5 – arrival at 1PM
  5. All campers must depart by 10AM.
  6. Following the government’s request, all customers’ details will be kept for 21 days for Track & Trace.
