Camping at Debden House Campsite

At Debden House Campsite we have been reviewing all the latest government guidelines and updates in regards to re-opening of businesses and campsites. Our customers and staff are of the highest priority and thus we have been very mindful in taking the correct approach in re-opening the campsite with different regulations set in place in order to keep the facilities safe and secure for everyone.

Initially, we can only permit groups of no more than 6 people per pitch. Once the government lifts the outdoor restrictions (currently set for May 12th), then we will make the larger pitches available for booking.

Extra Measures taken for staff & customer safety:

  • There are social distancing signs and floor markings around the site and must be followed at all times.
  • There is an extra cleaning regime in place.
  • Hand sanitizers are provided in all toilet blocks, showers and washing up areas.
  • Extra security and staff will be around to ensure all government guidelines are adhered to.
  • All staff have been provided with PPE to wear at all times.
  • Cash & Card payments are not available for both Campers and Day Visitors. Please book and pay online before you arrive.
  • Our site will officially be open for campers on 28th May 2021. The online booking system will go live on 1st April.

Please note the following changes:

  1. All Day Visitors must pre-book and pay online – we are no longer able to take 'walk in' customers. The check-in time is from 9am and departure is strictly 7pm. All day pitches on field 3, have been segregated to adhere to the social distancing rules. No cash or card payment available. Please book & pay online before you arrive.
  2. All Campers will need to book a minimum of 2 night stay, or 3 nights if booking over August bank holiday 27-29 August 2021.
  3. Each field has a DIFFERENT arrival time. Please stick to this time as we are trying to reduce risk of transmission by having too many people congregating in queues, etc. Field 1 & 2 – arrival at 11AM, Field 5, 6, 7– arrival is 12PM.
  4. All campers must remain in the car park until directed by security. Only one member of the group will be asked to come to the office for check-in.
  5. All campers must depart by 10AM.
  6. Following the government’s request, all customers’ details will be kept for 21 days for Track & Trace.

IMPORTANT: We are following government guidelines and currently groups of no more than 6 are able to meet outdoors. Therefore at present, only our pitches of 1-5 are available to book. This restriction is due to be lifted from 17th May, if this occurs as planned, we will then release our larger pitches and make them available to book.

We look forward to welcoming you back in 2021
